Partnership Announcement: Telos x NFTO
When I first heard about Telos teaming up with NFTO, Toronto’s trailblazing Web 3.0 social club, I was stoked. You see, after the pandemic, folks needed places like NFTO to reconnect, and what better space than one that’s at the forefront of technology and community?
In this piece, we’ll dive deep into their exciting partnership, explore the revolutionary world of Web 3.0, and maybe – just maybe – convince you to join the digital art revolution.
But first, a quick story: remember when you first traded Pokémon cards with friends? That simple trade, full of nostalgia and excitement, is a glimpse into the future of digital art transactions. Let the debate begin!
Telos and the Telos NFT Department announces its newest partnership with NFTO, Toronto’s first community-driven Web 3.0 and NFT social club. Following the pandemic, NFTO was formed to bring together believers in Web 3.0 for events and meetups centered on networking, community building, education, fun and, of course, the occasional party. Through NFTO, companies have been formed, artists and technologists have been able to get hired at innovative companies (both locally and globally) and invaluable connections have been forged. NFTO started locally but now enjoys global brand recognition.
Through this partnership, Telos will collaborate with NFTO at the upcoming Futurist Conference in Toronto this August and will also team up with the organization to throw future virtual and IRL events. In addition to working together to launch epic events in the future, another aim of this new allegiance will be to help bridge the gap between traditional and digital forms of art by enabling creators to be a part of the art revolution in a way that still feels natural and has nostalgic value, yet embraces the new and unknown.
NFTO is Toronto’s first community-driven Web 3.0 and NFT social club, bringing together passionate and talented futurists and community members across Ontario for networking through regular meetups and events. From bluechip NFT holders to individuals that are new to the space, NFT’s focus is getting people away from Discord and Twitter to meet people with common interests in real life. NFTO is also an educational resource for its community, organizing valuable sessions, seminars and other events that help demystify Web 3.0 topics like DAOs, NFTs, the Metaverse, and much more.
